These 100% pure beeswax candles are hand dipped according to early American methods using a revolving candle stand that holds twelve dipping pallets strung with 10 pairs of wicks to create 120 pairs of candles. Hand dipping is a meditative process of dipping each pallet of candle wicks thirty times over several hours. The result is an elegant, satiny finished, long burning beeswax taper candle.
The Beauty of Beeswax is that they are slow burning, pure beeswax has a higher melting point than paraffin, so candles burn longer. They are also dripless and beeswax burns away completely as long as the wick is not untrimmed or in a draft. And our special golden beeswax retains the wonderful scent of fresh honey. For best results, trim the wick to one quarter inch each time the candle is lit.
