Michael, a Journeyman Tinsmith, Certified Welder, and self-taught Blacksmith, has been bending iron for over 25 years. His start was in the shipfitter shop aboard the USS Vancouver. Afterwards he was a boilermaker for the Utica Steam Engine and Boiler Works. He served his apprenticeship for sheet metal work at Revere Copper Products. Nowadays, Laura, his wife, is the designer, painter and organizer. His daughter, Bridget, is the secretary, and his son-in-law, Luke, helps in the shop. Their son, Chris, now in the Seabees, swings the hammer when he's home in the Mohawk Valley near Utica, NY.
