Joe Benesch has been working with wood for most of his life, having built his own home and several other houses including a log cabin. After the arrival of grandchildren, Joe started making trucks, rocking houses and other toys for them. After filling requests from friends and relatives, and enlisting the help of his wife Sharon with the staining and painting, Joe started selling his wooden trucks and wooden household items to the public in 1994 and the popularity of his work continues to grow.
