Joe Benesch has been working with wood for most of his life, having built his own home and several other houses including a log cabin. After the arrival of grandchildren, Joe started making trucks, rocking houses, and other toys for them. In 1994, he started selling trucks and wooden decorations which his wife stains and paints.
