Linda Allen lives near Lowville in the Tug Hill region of the West-Central Adirondacks. She is a member of many basketry-related associations and won a Best in Category Award at the Stowe Basketry Festival in 2000. Linda's goals include pursuing teaching at national basket weaving conventions, as well as designing and selling patterns.

Adirondack Basketry designs and crafts baskets that are beautiful, yet practical and useful. Baskets are handwoven using original designs and feature round, flat, and flat oval reeds, both natural and dyed. Other features include oak handles and many decorative touches including stencils, red pine bark, and seagrass.
