Sandra Hildreth

Sandra Hildreth has been an active, exhibiting artist for 30 years while also employed as a high school art teacher. She has a studio in her home where she produces watercolor and oil paintings of Adirondack wilderness landscapes. Sandra says, "I feel deeply moved by wild places and hope to convey that experience through my paintings. Each painting is of a specific place - if you've been there, you will recognize it. I would like to think my paintings will encourage deeper respect and appreciation for wild places and a concern to protect them for future generations." Her work has been featured in solo and group shows, regional and juried competitions, and in private and university collections.
