This report documents over two years of research and experience with creating, managing, and improving AdirondackCraft.com, an attractive online store representing 60 craftspeople and artisans who reside in the rural Adirondack region of upstate New York. The report includes detailed information on successes, problems, and solutions involved in managing a regional e-commerce effort. Income and expenses are outlined, and a three-year marketing plan is included that covers all aspects of managing and promoting as effort of this type. Also includes information on AdirondackWood.com, an online regional directory of 700 wood products companies. Not for the mildly interested, this is our business and marketing plan for 2002-2005.
