The novel portrays a small Adirondack community where you will be welcomed by 62 of the friendliest people in the Adirondacks, plus a couple of soreheads. Described as a humorous novel spun with down-home Americana, you will meet Paul Wilson, recent newcomer who moves to an Adirondack hamlet from the city to what he hopes will be a quieter life. Shortly after his arrival, however, Paul is attacked by a bear, rescued by the town eccentric storeowner, and later encounters a corrupt government worker plus a woman with a three-legged, one eyed dog! To top it all off, there is something very strange going on at the local post office. The entertaining novel is a fictional story about a community of people in the Adirondack Park.
